  • MediaDB / «Andrey Gromyko. Mr. No's mistake" Nelly Goreslavskaya: download fb2, read online

About the book: 2022 / Andrei Gromyko worked for half a century in the CPSU Central Committee, outliving six general secretaries. The longest-serving foreign minister of the Soviet state (1957–1985), he was respected both at home and abroad. And although Western politicians and journalists called him the unyielding “Mr. No,” they also argued that Gromyko “is perhaps the most informed foreign minister in the world.” His opinion was taken into account by Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle... However, towards the end of his life, already thrown out of big politics, Andrei Andreevich admits to his fatal mistake: in the turning point for the USSR in 1985, it was at his instigation that Mikhail Gorbachev was nominated to General Secretary, with whose name in Russian history is associated with the collapse of the Soviet Union. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.
