About the book: 2022 / In the fall of 1957, Soviet rocket scientists sent the first artificial Earth satellites into orbit. Shortly before the epoch-making event, the country celebrated the centenary of the birth of Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky, who was called the “father of space flight.” It was he who, at the beginning of the 20th century, was able to prove that the creation of satellites is not a fantastic idea, but a task for engineers that is quite capable of being solved by contemporaries. But Tsiolkovsky probably would not have received worldwide recognition as the founder of astronautics if he had not drawn large-scale conclusions from his evidence and developed a plan for extraterrestrial expansion for humanity. The article was published in the magazine “On the Moon” No. 10 2022, Page. 22-35.
