About the book: 2017 / This monograph examines the work and aspects of the biography of the master of Russian words, Count Dmitry Ivanovich Khvostov - his author’s traumas and practices, creative stimuli and everyday tactics, his parodic personality and political identity in a historical context and in the context of the formation of Russian poetry. The author, starting from a cultural-anthropological approach that equates great creators and those who are only capable of funny trinkets, proves that only a people like Pushkin could have produced a poet like Khvostov.
