About the book: 2023 / The book is the twelfth volume of the series dedicated to the history of the White movement in Russia and the stay of the Russian Army of General P.N. Wrangel in camps in Gallipoli and other places during the first year after her evacuation from Crimea at the end of 1920. The tragedy of the situation of Russian soldiers is shown when they had to fight hunger, cold, heat, disease, and the ill will of their former allies. However, Wrangel and his entourage (primarily Kutepov, Kusonsky, Shatilov), making incredible efforts, managed to retain the most reliable and trained personnel of their army and prepared it for relocation to Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. The book is equipped with extensive comments published for the first time , containing several hundred unknown biographical information about the authors and heroes of the essays.
