About the book: year / The “Wanderer” returned to the Capital unharmed, carrying on board the full crew and envoys of the Galactic Union. In these troubled times, this was simply great: after the fall of the Empire, the Galaxy plunged into chaos, and the new government, organized in the ruins, tried in every possible way to prevent wars during the division of imperial property. Working as a pilot of the "Capital" detachment was, to put it mildly, uninteresting: while the envoys were busy defusing the tense situation on the next planet, the co-pilot and I were bored locked up in the spaceship, so as not to accidentally get shot. Now the tired ambassadors were sleeping in the cabin, and it was a pity to wake them, although the moment of landing was approaching.
