MediaDB / «The Thaw as Disobedience" Sergei Chuprinin: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2023 / Continuing the research of the "Thaw" culture (March 1953 - August 1968), begun in the books "The Thaw: Events" (awarded “Enlightener”, 2020) and “The Thaw: Characters”, Sergei Chuprinin reflects on the key turns and trends of this period. How long did the “ideological NEP” last in the post-Stalin era? Is it possible to talk about this time as a violently cut short Renaissance, the lessons of which are becoming more and more relevant? How did the ethic of disobedience to official dogma and bosses gradually emerge from under the boulders? The author seeks answers to these questions based on evidence left by direct participants in the cultural processes of the 1950–1960s. The articles included in the book talk about the Thaw as a difficult time of hope and disappointment, in which, however, there was a place for morality, humanism and resistance to the Soviet system. Sergei Chuprinin – Doctor of Philology, Professor at the Literary Institute, Editor-in-Chief of the Znamya magazine».
