About the book: 1970 / Vladimir Nikolaevich Dubovka is one of the oldest Belarusian writers (born in 1900, published since 1921). He graduated from the Literary and Art Institute named after V. Ya. Bryusov in 1924. A number of books of his poems, poems, poetic fairy tales for children, as well as translations of works by classics of world literature have been published in the Belarusian language. The book of poems “Polesskaya Rhapsody” in the Belarusian language was awarded the Republican Literary Prize named after Yanka Kupala. In Russian, in translations by A. Akhmatova , A. This story tells about inquisitive young naturalists. In their affairs they are guided by great principles: to be true owners of the land, and not wasteful, to carefully preserve and increase the riches of their native nature. The heroes of the story conduct many different experiments with wild plants rich in useful substances, and also graft pear onto poplar, cedar onto pine, They breed water chestnuts in their lake, tidy up the thickets of hazel (hazel). But most importantly, they conduct experiments to improve the yellow acacia. Persistence, perseverance in achieving a wonderful goal, love of nature, hard work and inquisitiveness shown by the young heroes of the story, will undoubtedly interest readers and encourage them to conduct even more interesting and useful experiments with other wild-growing useful plants.
