He faced a large number of trials. Fortunately for the guy, in some mysterious way, he passed them without much loss. After graduating from technical school, Zhenya Stepanov received an assignment for the construction of an automobile plant in Tolyatti. He didn't like working with prisoners. He decided that he needed to escape from there. The guy went to the military registration and enlistment office. There he told the officer that all his friends were already in the army and he wanted to serve with his peers. The colonel ordered all documents to be completed. A day later, Zhenya was traveling on a train to the border of China, towards other adventures.
