  • MediaDB / «Arab days. It's time for the Egyptian executions" Yuri Uspensky: download fb2, read online

About the book: 2017 / This book is devoted to an overview of the military-political storm that began in the Arab world more than five years ago and has not completely subsided to this day. It was impossible not to notice this frantic burst of energy, but how to understand it? If a prominence exploded on the Sun, is that good or bad? Whatever you conclude on this score, know that you and your opinion are already behind the times, because it exploded eight minutes ago, and since the activity on the Sun is frantic, the situation has already changed many times. And someone decides everything for themselves with this gestalt case: is the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak natural? Meanwhile, for those who are in the thick of things, this name evokes the same vague associations as the name of Ramesses II. “Days of the Arabs” was conceived by me as a continuation of the first book (“Arab Chronicles”, AH). The scene of action is the same Arab world, where before our eyes new religious movements and idols are maturing and new military powers are emerging. For decades, this region was divided into satellites of the USSR and clients of the United States, and today, left without a saving umbrella, it is desperately trying to survive in the face of unrelenting external influence. It would seem that Russia is a country with a traditionally strong orientalist school and developed ties with the Arab world. But the “live broadcast” of the Arab world is poorly covered in our country, or is too biased. I believe that knowledge should be relevant and accessible, and therefore, setting out the facts and my view of what is happening, I invite each reader to independently and honestly answer questions about why Russia needs the Middle East and planes in Syria, what is the connection between what is happening in Ukraine and Egyptian revolution, where are our friends and enemies. And my second book will help you with that. Inshallah!
