About the book: 2023 / In Soviet times, the intervention of 1918–1922. was seen as a form of class struggle that resulted in the Western bourgeoisie supporting the White armies with the goal of destroying the Soviet Republic. In 1991–2021, serving historians wrote briefly and vaguely about the intervention. But in 2022, the US and NATO intervention in Ukraine clearly showed that the West’s goals have not changed in a hundred years. The main goal of both interventions is the dismemberment of Russia and the creation of pro-Western puppet governments in new state formations. The similarities and differences between both interventions are described in the book by Alexander Shirokorad “Two Interventions. 1918–1922, 2022–2023.
