About the book: year / The novel "Living Souls" is a protest against the consumer ideology imposed by society. The book places the reader in a narrow gap between reality and illusion - an old mirror and a black lake, between a big city and an extinct village, profit and morality. The familiar world here organically coexists with the magical world. Euphoria and fear, the torment of choice, love and a journey beyond the boundaries of existence - all this helps the heroes to be reborn as different people, giving them a chance to change the world or, at least, their destiny.
