MediaDB / «Echelon" Joseph Shklovsky: download fb2, read online
About the book: year / The word “history” means two things - the actual flow of events and its reflection in the minds of people - for example, something called “historical science”. History as a reflection exists only because it is interesting to people, and it is interesting to most people because they themselves are objects of history - in the sense of a flow of events. Therefore, in particular, there is a genre of memoirs, memoirs, etc. Discussions on the topic of what places and times are interesting and/or useful for us to read, as well as on the topic of what the author should be like and what his place should be in society and role in the events is provided to the reader as an easy home exercise. We present to you the memoirs of Joseph Shklovsky. As fate would have it, we have the original text. No editing was carried out. Most of these memoirs were previously published on paper (see instructions in the table of contents) and on the Internet, but in a heavily edited form. It is known that these publications at one time provoked discussions and critical reviews from individuals who considered themselves to be unreliably characterized (or their descendants). Without at all denying the potential benefit of discussion, as well as the possible bias of the author (and those of us about whom it makes sense to ask this question in the first place), we believe that it is our duty to publish the text in its original form. The author of these memoirs could not, at the time of previous publications, protect his own and the author’s natural right - the right to convey his text to the reader. Time, serendipity and the Internet made this possible. And everyone who finds something in this text worthy of discussion can now do so without being subjected to politically correct—that is, politically corrective—editing. From the publisher
