About the book: 2016 / The works of N.P. Zadornov constitute a whole epic about the exploration of the Far East by Russian people. “Amur-Father” became the writer’s debut novel. The work tells about the life of migrant peasants in a small village on the banks of the Amur in the 1860s–1870s. The heroes have to not only conquer the wild nature of the harsh region, but also establish relationships with its local population - the Nanai. The novel focuses on the Great Russian principle, which once united a multinational empire, which turns out to be topical in the new millennium. The publication includes the first book of the novel.
