About the book: 1989 / Lygia, a seething planet with intelligent life, was discovered near the star Rastaban. On Lygia, the seas were pulled out by rivers, sank under the soil, pushed out into another area, mountain ranges turned into a flat plateau in a few hours, and the next day the mountains grew again. People on Lygia miraculously guessed the areas of the planet with a calm drift and lived on their land, like polar explorers on an ice floe. A newborn Ligian knew as much as an adult - knowledge was passed on through inheritance. But after a few decades, the yellow star Rastaban will begin to swell, turning into a red giant. Earthlings are trying to save the inhabitants of Lygia.
