About the book: year / The book is the 22nd volume in the series dedicated to the White movement in Russia, and examines the military actions of the white troops during the Great Siberian Ice March campaign, which is one of the most tragic pages in the history of the Civil War in Siberia. Chronologically, the campaign covers the period from mid-November 1919 (abandonment of Omsk) to mid-February 1920 (execution of A.V. Kolchak and the arrival of the whites in the Chita region). Later events are also touched upon: the displacement of whites from Transbaikalia by the fall of 1920, the fate of the Orenburg, Ural and Altai Cossacks, events in Vladivostok. Among the authors of the volume are famous memoirists - Petrov, Sakharov, Meibom, Efimov. Much attention in the book is paid to the history of the death of General V.O. Kappel. The book is equipped with extensive and first published comments containing several hundred unknown biographical information about the authors and heroes of the essays.
