About the book: 1962 / In the ancient eastern chronicles about Timur (Tamerlane) there is a mention of the palace of the cruel conqueror, built on one of the islands of Issyk-Kul. But no one even found the remains of this structure. And only in the second half of the 19th century, some Russian travelers to Central Asia reported that some ruins were visible at the bottom of the lake. Two years ago, the Institute of Hysteria of the Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences sent a special archaeological expedition to the lake, equipped with everything necessary for underwater research.
