About the book: year / Is it possible for a world where the First World War has been going on for fifty years? A world where Compiegne and Versailles did not exist - can it exist? The developers of the computer game “IRON STORM” tried to beat this situation in their creation. The idea turned out to be quite good, very non-trivial and exciting in its own way. Then a remake of this game called “World War Zero” was released for the PlayStation 2. A world where battles that began in 1914 are still taking place. And even though it’s already 1964 in that timeline, soldiers from different countries and peoples are still killing each other on the battlefields. In this alternate reality, the face of war has changed! The First World War is not over yet! And I began to wonder - how can this be? How, in theory, can such a war go on for 50 years? What impact can it have on the world? I didn’t really like what the developers offered in their description, it’s somehow rather weak in my amateur opinion. And so I will try to the best of my meager imagination
