About the book: year / Not so distant future. The third great war has not yet been declared, but is already underway. It is not yet visible or heard by civilians - only the military knows about it, only the fighters of silence fight on the invisible battlefield. Only my story, first of all, is not about the war, but about people - not about good or bad, but about who they are. This story is about a Russian officer serving in the GRU - a rather outstanding illegal intelligence officer, active and conducting sabotage activities in the territories of northern and eastern Europe. And in particular, about how the hardened and mocking intelligence officer, often called Chief Slava, had to sip on those human weaknesses that he was used to so cynically using for the purposes of the main intelligence department.
