About the book: 2005 / Planet Melaquin - a world from which one does not return alive. To accompany the disgraced Admiral Chi, exiled to this planet, two scouts are sent here with him - Festina Ramos and Yarun Deriha. Both of them are “doomed”, those who are called “expendable” - due to their physical deformity, because of which the potential death of these people is not perceived particularly acutely. But, getting to the planet, they find themselves in the epicenter of events that threaten to destroy not only the inhabitants of this world, but also put the Earth itself at risk.
