About the book: year / Manuscript in bottles. Like dying sailors sending letters in bottles, in 1943, Polish journalist Kazimir Sakovich, a witness and eyewitness to the executions in Ponary (Paneriai), left us a message, having buried several bottles with a diary from July 11, 1941 to October 6, 1943 near his house. Some of the records are apparently lost, but the remaining ones represent the most important historical document.
