About the book: year / The manuscript covers the period of the Great Patriotic War from August 1941 to April 1944 and touches on the events that unfolded on various fronts. The author worked on the manuscript for eight years, until his last hour. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to do much, including the illustrations that were left behind the scenes. All described events were reconstructed from memory; the main source of the chronology of events were letters from the front.
