About the book: year / Millions of years before the Nanotech Network......already existed...... Technocosm... ...Imagine an interstellar Internet in which people move as information from star to star the digitized consciousness of the users themselves......Technocosm is more than an information network. This is the interface between intelligent life in the Universe and the physical world... I am pleased to present to you my new science fiction story “Technocosm”. Published on October 4, 2007. From the preface: Every author, even sometimes writing science fiction, sooner or later finds himself forced to try to give his answer to the damned Mystery of the Silence of the Cosmos. Indeed: in an infinitely vast space there should be an infinite number of planets with conditions suitable for the origin of life. This, in turn, with a high degree of probability means that in the Universe there are a huge number of civilizations much older than the earthly one, and, accordingly, much more advanced technologically. But if they are so advanced and they had so much more time than us, then they probably already managed to spread their influence throughout the entire Universe. And here we are faced with a great paradox: aliens should be everywhere, but we don’t see them. The story offered to the reader is my humble attempt to give a possible answer to this great mystery. The events in the new story take place fourteen years before the events described in “Nanotech Network”, so in a sense it can be considered a “prequel” to “Nanotech”, although this is a completely independent work that can be read by those readers who hasn't read the first story. In the appendix, the author provides additional materials for readers who want to better understand the issues raised in the book. The works of A. Lazarevich and his answers to readers’ questions can be found on the website http://technocosm.narod.ru/.
