MediaDB / «Pasternak" Mikhail Elizarov: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2003 / Mikhail Elizarov wrote a tough and funny pamphlet, castigating modern times and morals. “Pasternak” is a fantastic action movie, the main theme of which is the situation in Orthodoxy, clouded by all kinds of influences brought in from outside. The scheme of the novel is simple, as befits an action movie: there are positive heroes, sort of cardboard Batmans who eradicate evil, and there is Evil itself - the monstrous virus of pastoral liberalism, the carriers of which mask spiritual weakness by talking about “true human values.” The symbol of such a worldview is Boris Pasternak’s pseudo-evangelical novel Doctor Zhivago. From the point of view of the novel’s heroes, its imaginary uplifting spirit is more harmful than the populism of “The Master and Margarita” or the heresies of Tolstoy. Literature - and after it, life - should not deviate from the precepts of Holy Scripture: you either follow the canons and rules, or simply sin. The main fighters against the Pasternak virus eradicate the infidels - Roerichites and pagans - with blood and sword. They infiltrate the enemy’s “inner circle”, into the catacombs, in order to blow up the situation from the inside, in the spirit of Hollywood action films. However, their main enemies are the reformers of True Knowledge, who corrupt Orthodoxy precisely with the help of fiction. The fighters for the faith know neither pity nor sympathy for them. And trains pass by and Mercedes fly by. In short, as they would have written before, “the author gives a broad panorama of modern life.” It comes out witty and easy, with a well-structured composition and a lot of additional meanings..
