  • MediaDB / «Everyday life of Pushkin Mountains" Anna Sergeeva-Klyatis: download fb2, read online

About the book: 2018 / The book tells about the daily life of the inhabitants of Mikhailovsky, an estate that belonged to the family of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. At the center of the story is not only the two years that Alexander Sergeevich spent here in exile without a break (from August 1824 to September 1826), but also Pushkin’s other visits to Pskov land, where he returned many times. The author strives to trace all, even the smallest details of Pushkin’s life, his daily impressions, communication, etc., based on the immutable fact that the circumstances of everyday life for any person are no less important than major historical events and turning points of eras, and precisely from them predominantly human life takes shape: the “omnipotent god of details” is behind all its vicissitudes. The second part of the book describes Mikhailovsky’s daily life without Pushkin. A special place in it is occupied by the fate of the Pushkin Nature Reserve in the post-war years. In particular, on the pages of the book the reader is presented with a vivid image of the long-term “guardian” of these places, Semyon Stepanovich Geichenko.
