About the book: 2009 / "Beyond Good and Evil" (1886) - a landmark work by Friedrich Nietzsche, which precedes the final, most intense period his work, marked by summing up the philosophical results of previous human history and foreseeing the most important social and spiritual conflicts of the twentieth century. The idea of the superman, formulated in the book “Thus Spake Zarathustra,” is developed in Nietzsche’s new work in the form of sharp analytical aphorisms, which concentrate the author’s sharp criticism of modernity - its philosophy, science, art, politics and, most importantly, morality. On the pages of this prophetic work, which not coincidentally had the subtitle “Prelude to the Philosophy of the Future,” the German thinker predicted the coming collapse of European spirituality, and the “uprising of the masses” with the subsequent accession of the “coming boor,” and the leveling of personality under the flag of universal equality of people, and the grandiose the struggle for world domination, and totalitarianism as a consequence of the democratization of Europe. The inevitability of these events and phenomena is dictated, according to Nietzsche, by the “slave morality” fraught with tyranny, which poisoned his time and over which he calls upon the philosophers of the future to rise above, capable, as he sees it, of standing on the other side of good and evil.
