About the book: 2015 / Retired Russian general Vladimir Rybnikov arrived in the Belarusian city of Pinsk for a meeting of colleagues and was killed by unknown assailants. A few days earlier in Moscow, 800 million rubles were withdrawn from the accounts of the Veteran fund, which was headed by Rybnikov. The money disappeared without a trace. An Interpol investigative team urgently leaves for Pinsk, but on the way, the whole team dies in a car accident. Then the leadership of the MUR sends its best detectives, Colonels Gurov and Kryachko, to Belarus. The investigators “travel” incognito and on different routes. Gurov arrives in Pinsk on time, but Stas Kryachko never gets there - he goes missing…
