About the book: 2007 / Greetings, dear reader. I am Sergey Dmitrievich Kocherov, working pseudonym “Dr. Shugart." A Muscovite, at this stage of my life I’m studying in the eleventh grade, and later I want to enter MIREA. What you see in front of you now is my first completed project. I treat it like a book and with all seriousness. The book “Clear Sky” itself is timed to coincide with the beginning of the development of the game S. T. A. L. K. E. R. Clear sky. What made me decide to create a book? It's very simple. All those books that were created by writers, or fan works. Let’s take the same famous “Fang”. They never reflected my vision of the “Exclusion Zone”, they never put an end to this chaos... they only described a moment, the life story of someone - a “stalker”, nothing more and nothing less. I want to “dig” not only into the “ZONE” itself, but also into the characters of the people living in it. And of course, finish this story, put a full stop on it. All I want is to understand the very essence of this mysterious place, understand the character of the “stalker” and understand... is it possible that a person changes the “ZONE” and vice versa. I embodied all this in my first literary, quite, I think, serious work called “Clear Sky”. There will be three books in total. Now you, dear reader, will read the book “Clear Sky. Book one." In it you will get acquainted with characters, destinies and hints about what kind of place this “ZONE” is. I undertake to answer all these questions in the entire Clear Sky trilogy. I just want to note that the “ZONE” in the book “Clear Sky” is something else that is in the game. Good luck!
