About the book: 2004 / This textbook is written on the basis of a course of lectures that the author has been delivering since 1999 at the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov. The book examines the problems of psychophysiology of consciousness and the unconscious, in particular the problem of asymmetry of the human cerebral hemispheres. Various forms of unconscious mental phenomena, methods of recording them, and the conditions under which they arise are described. Facts are presented that prove that, under certain conditions, speech signals can be perceived and analyzed at an unconscious level. The problem of human manipulation is discussed, including the problem of the “25th frame”. In addition, this manual shows the role of unconscious cognitive attitudes in regulating a person’s perception of the world around him, and also critically examines pseudoscientific myths about unconscious “mysterious” phenomena in the human psyche.
