MediaDB / «Mencius" Meng Ke: download fb2, read online
About the book: 1999 / Ancient Chinese philosopher Meng Ke (372–289 BC), known more often as Mencius - “Teacher Meng ", is considered the most brilliant representative of Confucian teachings after its founder Confucius (551-479 BC). The teachings of Confucius were not systematically presented anywhere by him and came to us in the transmission of students who compared their notes and compiled the book “Judgments and Conversations” (“Lun Yu”) from them. “Lun Yu” and “Mengzi” - these two books are the most complete presentation of the views of the founders of Confucian teachings Kun Qiu (Confucius) and Meng Ke (Mengzi). In this volume, the reader is offered a complete Russian translation of the second of the two most important monuments ancient Chinese Confucian thought, written by the classical sinologist V. S. Kolokolov (1896–1979), one of the greatest experts on the Chinese language, classical and modern. Translation, equipped with an annotated index of names found in Mencius, after the death of V. S. Kolokolova lay motionless for many years. During this time, the situation with the translation of Confucian classics into Russian has remained virtually unchanged. Therefore, the proposed translation remains relevant both in general terms and for educational purposes - in Russia there are still no satisfactory textbooks for studying the Confucian classics and Confucian thought.
