About the book: 2011 / The Great Patriotic War became one of the culminating moments in the history of our Motherland in the 20th century. These were the years when it was decided whether to exist in the world for our country and the peoples inhabiting it, or to become part of history. All of us, the people of those years, and those reading these lines now, could fall into the category of “disappeared peoples”, and we would be studied as the Sumerians and Achaeans are studied. But our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, whose generation, alas, is rapidly passing away, defended their and our right to exist. Victory in that terrible war was won at the front and forged in the rear. Home front workers faced a truly titanic task - to overcome, to overpower the economy of almost all of Europe, cemented by the leadership of Nazi Germany into a single complex of military production. This work is dedicated to them - the workers and engineers, designers and adjusters who broke the back of Goering's department. They had their own front - and they won their Victory.
