About the book: 2013 / You are holding in your hands a textbook that can become a self-instruction manual, a manual for an introductory course or a grammar reference book. The book consists of an introductory and 7 thematic lessons (“Very nice!”, “Arriving in Milan”, “Walking around the city”, “Shopping”, “At dinner with friends”, “What do you do?”, “Free time”, “Vacation at last” !”), including small lexical “additions” (for example, “What time is it?” or expressions of obligation) and exercises to consolidate vocabulary. The lessons are united by “through” characters. The second part of the book is a grammar reference book and a collection of exercises. The reference book covers major grammar topics, including those not covered in the introductory course. After each topic you will find one or two exercises for consolidation (at the end of the reference book there are “keys” with answers to the exercises). The reference book can be used regardless of the first part of the book, at the next stages of learning.
