It consists of four chapters: “Stalin and Babel”, “Stalin and Fadeev”, “Stalin and Erdman” and “Stalin and Simonov”. Two heroes of this book, who have appeared on its pages more than once - Fadeev and Simonov - in unlike all her other characters, they were Stalin's favorites. In this volume, two large chapters are dedicated to them, which tell in detail how this Stalinist love turned out for each of them.
