About the book: 1977 / The book is dedicated to the activities of the largest French trading company of the first half of the 15th century. The research is based on the dossier of the royal prosecutor Jean Dove in the case of the property of the treasurer of Charles VII, Jacques Coeur. Among the few documents on the socio-economic history of France during the Hundred Years' War, Jean Dove's dossier has one of the prominent places. The full publication of this source, carried out for the first time in 1952 by M. Molla, enabled the author to turn to a thorough study of the activities of Jacques Coeur and the court trading company.
