The book includes all the main works that examined the economic and financial problems in Pushkin’s life, primarily the studies of S. Ya. Gessen and P. E. Shchegolev. In the economic life of Pushkin, five roles can be distinguished: official, writer and book publisher, card player, landowner, city dweller-family man.
