About the book: 2021 / It was a sensational discovery: at the end of World War II, American military lawyer Benjamin Ferencz discovered carefully archived detailed reports on murders carried out by special teams - Einsatzgruppen SS. Ben Ferencz, who discovered the documents, became the main prosecutor in the Nuremberg trial, which examined the worst massacres in human history. The senior SS officers who stood trial were charged with the systematic extermination of more than 1 million people, mainly in Nazi-occupied Soviet territory. Later, Ferenc was a central figure in negotiations on Germany's payment of compensation to victims of the Holocaust, and made a significant contribution to the development of the UN Definition of Aggression and to the creation of the International Criminal Court. The book is based on personal conversations between the author, Swiss explorer Philipp Guth, and Ben Ferencz, as well as a wide range of historical documents. The responsible scientific editor of the Russian edition was the judge of the UN international tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia (retired), Professor B.R. Tuzmukhamedov, the comments were prepared by a specialist in German history, Professor O.Yu. Plenkov. Publishing layout saved in PDF A4 format.
