About the book: 2017 / The book of Metropolitan Vladimir (Ikim) of Omsk and Tauride "Words for the Twelfth and Great Feasts" is an organic addition to it a cycle of liturgical sermons on the Gospel and Apostolic readings for every day called “Eternal Treasure” and contains sermons on the themes of the most important holidays of the church year, as well as on some other special occasions (anniversaries of the Patriarchs, New Year) - a total of 74 Words. In these sermons, patristic exegesis is combined with modern spiritual and moral issues and the history of the Russian Church of the 20th–21st centuries, refracted through the author’s personal long-term experience of archpastoral service.
