THE AUTHOR ABOUT HIMSELF Seriously, somehow boring, but short : I was born in Kalinin, but I consider myself an Odessa resident - I studied at school and university there. She defended her PhD thesis in marine biology, worked in Norway, at the University of Bergen, and studied salmonids there. At the 35th year of her life and a completely adequate scientific career, she gave up everything and became a translator of science fiction. Translated King, Vance, Tubb, Barker (Clive) and a bunch of others for the magazines If and Supernova Fiction. At the same time I wrote these stories. And novels - two SF novels are awaiting a publisher. And at the same time she criticized others - and in this she was quite successful. Therefore, she is known more as a critic than as a science fiction writer, however, for the story “The Veil for Abaddon” she was nominated for the Apollo Grigoriev Prize, a laureate of all sorts of online competitions.M.
