His poems are considered one of the most striking human documents of the past tragedy. The name of Isaac Rosenberg is immortalized on the stone tablets of Westminster Abbey - in the famous corner of English front-line poets. In Russia, the poet’s work remained little known. The translation of war poems by Isaac Rosenberg was first carried out by the St. Petersburg poet and translator Evgeniy Lukin.
