About the book: 1942 / The heroes of the novel by Arkady Perventsev are people working at an aircraft factory during the war. In the most difficult time for the country, in the fall of 1941, the plant was evacuated from Ukraine to the Urals, and the workers had to do the impossible: within a month after arriving at the new location, the plant had to give airplanes to the front. “Test” is a novel about the heroism of home front workers, about brotherhood of peoples, about the unity of Soviet people who stood up to defend their Motherland.
