About the book: 2018 / "Write, write more! Secure every moment... - all this will be the body of your poor, poor soul left in the vast world,” wrote the very young Marina Tsvetaeva. And as if fulfilling this covenant, her son Georgy Efron wrote diaries, letters, and compiled an anthology of his favorite works. He also tried his hand at various literary genres: poetry, prose, stylizations, fairy tales. In this book, these experiments are published for the first time. His diaries are a continuation of those published in the publication “The Unknown of the Future,” which covered the last year of Marina Tsvetaeva’s life. Now the young man faces a lonely path and a lonely struggle for life. Having been evacuated to Tashkent, he resumes his studies at school, establishes an epistolary connection with his sister Ariadna, who is in the camp, and makes new acquaintances. He strives with all his might to Moscow and in the fall of 1943 he gets there, goes to study at the Literary Institute, but in the middle of his first year he is drafted into the army. And we learn about this last war period of Georgy Efron’s short life from his letters to his aunt, E.Ya. Efron.
