About the book: 2016 / “The Divine Life” is a work in which Sri Aurobindo’s worldview is most fully expounded. The author himself explained: “In this book I tried to give a metaphysical justification for Yoga and a new way of life on Earth.” Sri Aurobindo examines in detail how this life can and should be established on Earth through the process of transformation of human and earthly nature. “Divine Life” consists of two books, the first of which is devoted to the study of the relationship between the omnipresent Reality and the universe, and the second (in two parts) - the spiritual evolution of man. The proposed volume contains a translation of the first part of the second book.
