About the book: 2024 / Dyatlov Pass: this is probably the strangest story that happened in the Urals in the twentieth century. In February 1959, a group of students from the Ural Polytechnic passed through the passes of the low but harsh Northern Urals along a route of the highest category of difficulty. The students were led by their friend Igor Dyatlov. there were two girls. The journey was going smoothly, according to schedule: the guys were professionals. And suddenly - a catastrophe. At one of the overnight stops, in the evening, something so terrible happened that the experienced, seasoned travelers, who knew how to survive at least somewhere, were scared. They tore open the tent with a knife, abandoned everything, ran out into the cold, some dressed and some in socks, rushed down the slope, carrying away three wounded friends... After a few kilometers they stopped, came to their senses and began to look for how to escape - at night, in the cold, without warm clothes, without lanterns and axes, with victims in their arms... No one was saved. Not one lived until dawn. But all of them who remained conscious fought like lions - for themselves and for others. And the dead snow of the low mountains preserved the “dynamic poses” of people crawling towards an abandoned tent. They were looking for them for a long time. They searched on a grand scale - by helicopters and teams of skiers. They were found. That pass near the Mountain of the Dead was called Dyatlov Pass. Contents: WORKS OF FICTION: 1.
